Acting classes are held on Tuesdays for 3eme and 2nde grades and on Wednesdays for 1ere and Terminale grades in the drama studio (near the cafeteria).
Classes 1: the acting class is based on improvisation, without any text support which helps interpreting/playing the text in another way, creating the character, the emotion. Short improve games enable the memorization of the text, it also focuses on voice exercises, breath control games, self confidence and body gestures … Being yourself on stage helps with being yourself in real life. It isn’t a simple drama class, it is a team working together experience to create a common project. A 50 minutes performance will be organized at the end of the year.
Classes 2: as in the past years, the lessons focus on voice teaching, and gestures supported by the play Ubu the King by Alfred Jarry. The performances will be organized at Centre Saint Louis des Français on 11th of April and at Strohl-Fern gymnasium on the 13th of April 2016. The students will also have the opportunity to go and attend several performances with their teachers (classical and modern plays) in partnership with Dynamis Theatre Company and Festival Roma Europa.
